The season yielded a veritable style feast. Here’s what’s on our plate. Hope you’re hungry.

Monogrammed Madness

Travel—particularly stylish travel—is a big part of the Louis Vuitton ethos. For the whole of September, the heritage house will bring over 160 years of its innovative designs to life in Toronto’s Union Station. Time Capsule takes visitors on an immersive journey through the French brand’s rich history, beginning in 1854 when sturdy steamer trunks were the most effective way to transport belongings, to present day, where handbags and suitcases of all sizes accompany globetrotters on voyages over land, air, and sea.

Time Capsule highlights six monumental moments in Louis Vuitton history, like The Keys to the Codes, which explores signature design features like the monogram, and Artisans Room where visitors observe a Louis Vuitton craftsperson at work.

The exhibit, which fêtes Louis Vuitton’s 35th anniversary in Toronto, will also display rare accessories, including an item designed by architect Frank Gehry. Time Capsule runs until September 30, 2018.

A Beauté is Born

YSL Beauté’s global beauty ambassador Zoë  Kravitz continues to make waves. She has starred in countless campaigns for the brand, including Tatouage Couture, and most recently, its Black Opium fragrance. “[YSL Beauté’s] ability to combine the chicest of styles with a raw edge has always been to me one of the best ways to express yourself through fashion and beauty,” said Kravitz.
